    You should buy a new windows pc with windows 7 then you should subscribe to windows upgrade program, this way they will send an email with the upgrade code so u can inserted while buying the download version for $39.99-upgradeOffer=$14.99

    I also think this thread's title is misleading. There is nothing legitimate about this process, it's abusing a loophole. It sure is free, just like activating via a public KMS server, but just as illegitimate.

    You need to open CMD AS A ADMINISTRATOR

    Well it was working as of last night :)

    And yeah, clean install works perfectly using the 14.99 key.

    Its been 36 hours on two different emails.Are you sure they are still sending keys? The first part worked flawlessly.at the 24 hour mark redid the Microsoft email thing again twice.Either way Its good for 6 months but as soon as I get the key and install all my programs. I'm backing it up.:confused:

    And to Kalorgo,I will buy both copy's for my two computers but before I do If you read any of my posts you will find out that the RP version f**ked up my laptop screen.I took my computer apart and was going to by a new screen.someone sujested to replace the cable.but still had the screen problem.I realized there was no way the screen went out when through all the lines i could still see the desktop.i rolled it back about a month and screen was perfect.After that i went back to windows 7.so before i buy it for my other computer or pay the 34.99 for this computer I'm making sure it don't screw up again on my laptop.

    What state you live? i will tell you the time zone
    If your bios battery is out ,then your screwed,,just kidding.but i doubt that. I installed a O/s on a computer.battery was dead.so once in windows I set it myself.And it will do it itself when get on line but at least get it to the right date and time

    I activated my desktop computer that has Windows 8 Pro with KMS then I entered a WMC key I got from MS but the key is not being accepted. Slui keeps saying that the key won't work.
    Am I doing something wrong? Or has MS done something to stop users from activating their computer using the WMC key workaround?
