Activating Microsoft Windows 8 Pro with media center for free with legitimate key!

your script do not manage If the sppsvc is not running
If spp is not running it stops
if you start sppsvc all is good.

 

This is not my data.dat, - I've took it from this thread... And as long it works,- it will work with my script too. In the worstest case always possible to change it with working one...

In my post I've mentioned about activation process just after clear installation, so it is no reason why sppsvc will be stopped.
If it anyway stopped somehow... just start it by running following command from cmd started with elevated privileges:

No, mine was activated on the date of running the commands.

you need to run the slmgr -ato again during second time and it would show the current date.
And there is no need to reboot for it to take effect.
But you need to go offline when you run the commands the second time..

Try use this data.dat instead.

 

Where is it from?

 

From PCBeta. Origin unknown. Guess its retial judging from the size.
Disconnected from Internet, replaced data.dat, slmgr /ipk own WMC key, rebooted, enabled Internet connection
And its activated, activation date is current date.

Tried it online with error 0xC004C4AA as usual.

 

That's because you type slmgr /ato when you are online never do that the second time, once after replacing the data.dat just disconnect and type slmgr -ipk "your key" slmgr /ato reboot to get activated status along with current date.

the data.dat has the old date of activation in it . (checked it), to get current date disconnect from internet and go slmgr -ato reboot

this is the normal size of dat that is activated once by either (retail key/kms/mak) then adding WMC (activated once) , with every activation the size of data.dat increases.
