Activating Microsoft Windows 8 Pro with media center for free with legitimate key!

    I just did a clean install today and windows refused to activate with the WMC key with an unknown error. I have a laptop and all the same drivers so no chance of hardware changes. Used the phone activation and it's working fine now.

    OK MS has hit the last nail,all loopholes patched,just wait for an update to fix KMS exploit.yesterday it worked here but now they have stopped,my guess MS knew this all the time,they just wanted us to get the hang of it,they have succeeded (in my place atleast) so if you really want windows 8 buy the $14 key while you can.

    Tried redroad's method today - followed the instructions strictly to the letter. Still won't activate, seems like the loophole has been well and truly closed.

    How did they manage to close the loophole when the activation was done from the kms side? Is the key they give now a different set of key that won't work with the data.dat from previous set of keys of wmc?

    So when is M$ gonna close the loophole? WTF are they doing? Im still using their OS and all updates I get are Windows Defender definitions LOL :D I need WGA to deactivate this :D Then going back to Linux ofc :D

    Most probably this depends on activation history stored in data.dat, not the WMC-Keys.

    Now when we replace the Data.dat and put the key then try to activate the first time over the internet,it takes a little longer than normal, so this is when things are getting patched and stored in the system .so when we try the second time even without internet this method dose not work.
