Activating Microsoft Windows 8 Pro with media center for free with legitimate key!

u activate your windows with Key A-u activate once against server however method u use-
you use Key B for MC, -get activated again against server ,you get a new activation B against server. That is how i view it
B nullifies A

 

I got 2 WMC keys and did add successfully, but on every time I run WMC click continue and then express, it shows this.
What might be the issue??

 

u must have some driver prob dude, graphic or else

OK, test is done:

This is what I did:
(1) New setup W8 MSDN ISO 915477 (Core and Pro) - used the gvlkProfessional key (....J8CK4) in autounattend.xml (but that didn't "take" for some reason)
(2) Manually set the above key with slmgr /ipk
(3) Activated (with my own KMS!)
(4) "Get more features", entered the code I received by mail
(5) Got permanently activated.
(6) Used ATM for activation backup

(6) Reinstalled as (1)
(7) Tried to restore activation with ATM

Result: Failed. This doesnt work. Not after running ATM twice, not after setting the new key with slmgr /ipk. It doesn't accept the key.

I'm done testing for today.

 

Yep, you can install win 8 pro retail with gvlk and "upgrade" afterwards with WMC-Key. VMs installed with this key all show me this add feature link in sytempanel (Win+Pause or Win+Break).

 

No discussion about this in this board at all! Period! Using those leaked keys is like using stolen ones an not supported here. Generic GVLK and KMS-Activation don´t harm anybody exept MS.

There is a thread on this issue here in this board sektion. Is most probably a driver problem.

You will minimum need a Win 8 Pro install media with integrated WMC.

Thank you Josh Cell, I *did* try running it twice, but it didn't work. Oh well, I'm done for today, will think about it all day tomorrow, then try out more stuff tomorrow evening.
Remember, I'm trying the restore on a *bare-bones* Windows 8 Pro system (without Media Center).

 

Please provide more details about your activation...

You need of install the WMC version to restore a WMC activation.. And a PRO version to restore an PRO activation.

 

Thanks very much for your replies. I was given the impression that this might work, but now it confirmed 100% that it **can't** and **won't** work. So at least we have that.

Now I will figure out a way to prepare a W8Pro with MC, with which I can use my new keys. Should be an interesting new project. I know I can find the answers right here on MDL.

I have found that many people are having major problems with Windows 8 Pro activated with KMS not accepting WMC FREE Retail key...
every one I checked has used a BLACKLIST key. caused by many others using the same KEY and Phone Activation...
I found on the majority I changed keys to GVLK instead or Retail key... then Activated by a good KMS Server.
then adding the WMC KEY from M$ - followed all instructions... then rebooted then Activated again by the same KMS Server.
and come back when checked in VAMT 3.0 an Genuine, Updated , Retail Activation and Permanent...
check and see if your in Notification Mode - WMC will not install...

 

That´s why this topic is about doing it with GVLK against KMS. Due to the fact, talking about most probably illegal activation methods is abandoned here . No use to install those keys anyways.

 

I activated my copy yesterday using this method with no problem, but... I did it on my computer that was frozen by deepfreeze.

I did an activation backup using 2 different methods, I will try restoring it later.

Will post back with the results

 

Let me guess you are running Avast Anti-Virus! Well if you are uninstall it then it will work to get through setup and reinstall it! Let me know if this was your problem...

I did try severally and one method worked for me. All the time I had tried to run WMC and always crushed, I had run it from the shortcut created/pinned at the start screen. I eventually went to the start, right-clicked and clicked on all apps and run it (WMC) from there and guess what, it worked perfectly.
Afterwards it continued to work fine even when I run it from the start......
