Guess you are right, went a bit offtopic there My hopes are that they will not change the KMS protocol from TP to RTM .... but this will likely stay a dream We will have to wait and see what time brings ...
Now with insiders getting a activated copy of Windows 10 (linked with their Microsoft account) it gets even more confusing and twisted....
The latest understood statement is that Windows Insiders will be registered with their Microsoft Account...
I understand this and it is quite obvious my friend. I'm talking about motherboard serial number. As anyone can see, it's missing in my case.
some motherboard makers do not enter a serial number *and that isn't exactly the smartest thing they can do, more lazy if anything* meaning a lot of the same motherboards share the same HWID, It is pretty pathetic to be honest. If a server admin wanted to ban by HWID based on MB alone, it would ban all MB's that have the same HWID. in this case the servers checking have to have a fall back using other methods to obtain a HWID. Most likely a mix of several components to create one. This does explain why certain systems have issues that others don't in HWID cases.
If anybody's interested I have the KMS client setup keys Since all the prerelease keys have been deactivated
Why would they have the same HWID? Most motherboards have intergrated NICs and they all have unique MAC addresses.
