Activating Windows 7 on Skylake CPU?

    1. Yes, it can be possible but I don't find any reason to do so. Its 'permanent' in nature, because Asus itself does it in the same way for their PCs with pre-installed Windows.
    2. Ya, you can follow method 1 with the things you have.
    3. You need to turn off Secure Boot & enable legacy support/CSM (exact terminology may vary) to boot Windows 7 in UEFI mode - that's the thumb rule.
