Probably wouldn't do much better. I have uploaded the stuff so someone else can make their own stuff with it. This kills the timebomb, activation issues, and watermark. It is no different from KMS activating Enterprise SP1. Annoying thing is MS disabled .NET by default so I had to enable it in Add/Remove features to test my AutoKMS. AutoKMS 2.1.4 works fine and all KMS tools should work.
Thanks, finally worked for me. I just installed unlocker in my fresh install (10/23), deleted the folders and followed your directions. All legit, updated and in the present now
@CODYQX4 I just copied (after taking ownership and....) the 2 folders to the already installed Win 8 and actvated with Woat3.2! Thanks!
That is exactly why it is called an 'Frankenbuild'... although i understand people would like to remove the time-bomb, watermarks of this W8 M1 release the 'Frankenbuild' method is definitely not the way to go (experiences from the past) and causes nothing but trouble in the future when updating to M2, Beta1, Beta2, RC1 and/or RC2 and RTM releases of Windows 8. So if you do not know what you are doing, simply stay away from the 'Frankenbuild' approach!
Has there actually been a way to activate this build? Or is the activation system in this build so broken that it just can't be activated at all?
I didn't do this for removing the time-bomb or watermarks, I just wanted to install MSE, and for that I needed a genuine copy, I'll stick with this crack for now, till a better option is available "Frankenbuild" sounds funny hehe
Could some one answer the following questions, 1.Please post some more detailed explanation about activation method, (file changing,Rebuilding WIM and ISO,step by step ) 2.Even we activated this OS is already expired right? , so it is just for techies and testers? really activating or just hiding the activation and genuine notifications? 3.Can we update the OS after activating, (Any updates available ? M1-M3 , If not how MS guys get frequently updated their system, any other way? 4.Still any features are locked? If so any one able to unlock it yet? 5.How the leaker manged to leak this , i heard that all versions are traceable? if it not traceable can we hope M3 leak next week or so ? Thanks guys
