To MADDOG33 or anyone who has tried his method, I have tried it twice. One time when I started the executable it said it couldn't find the script. I then tried it again and didn't receive the error on the next try. I noticed when I type winver, I don't see the timebomb date but when I right click on my computer and select properties I do See I have 29 days to activate. Would I normally see this if the method (crack) worked correctly? If not, what am I doing wrong? Please let me know. thx
Isn't this the so called "crack" that simply fools everything to think its vista instead of windows 7? Also you cant get windows 7 updates as it also thinks its vista, so id call it a franken build rather than a crack!
The days will still countdown, but it will not nag you to activate - as per my screenshot which I posted earlier
Edit: after installing the 64 7600 I modified the script and one other file and it seems to be working.
you should call it a nag remover instead of activator so perhaps people won't get confused and stop whining about the expiration time and no genuine windows lol
People were panicking when they saw the expiration date but I keep telling them not to worry, it should work long after the date displayed. I included a read me text file in my last upload to explain this so no one gets ulcers.
I've try cracking my laptop RTM Windows 7 7600.16835 x86 with no success using Orbit30 1.8 toolkit. Make sure you have a restore point to go back to before cracking. But I did a search and someone said that Orbit30 1.7 toolkit will work. So I did a system restore and give it a try and it seem to work. The expired date is March 1 2010. Will probably have to wait for 30 days to really see if the expire date doesn't show up. Haven't try it on my Desktop computer running RTM Windows 7 7600.16835 x64 just yet. If anyone wants to give it a try using toolkit 1.7 for their Windows 7 RTM x64 Eng. Original Untouched ISO-ZUKONA(which I'm running) and if it work, please let us know.
Rather than waiting the 30 days you can test it by advancing the BIOS to a future date or you can also uninstall your product key.
