I have two machines that I use, one is an old desktop with Win7 and a netbook currently using XP on it. Now I also have two other windows devices, a pocket pc and a smartphone. I know that they work on Win7 but most of the chefs that make coocked roms work on XP.
Now is it possible (without problems) to run activesync 4.5 (latest xp version) on XP mode in Windows 7.

    Cheers

yeah it should be, I haven't tried it but they are 2 separate systems so since they are isolated from each other if it runs on XP it should run in XP mode.

    Hi ibeqa,

Yes, it does work. I upgraded my HTC Uni to WinMo 6.5 on the weekend, using this method. ;)

I had a little problem getting the Uni so show up in XP Mode at first. So just make sure that your WinMo Devices are syncing properly with XP Mode before you start any upgrades. :)
