Found a guide here for adding M.2 SSD support to a Z68 bios, but i'm having trouble adapting it to X79.

Basically i was hoping to add support for an M.2 PCI SSD, which doesn't seem to be detected at all so far. AFAIK support was officially added in Z97/X99 Boards.

Every time i try to flash the resulting file it says the file size is different (too big) and aborts (because of the added module). Not sure which modules i can replace without bricking the board.

The Board is an Asus Rampage IV Extreme and the SSD is a Samsung SM951 M.2 PCIE SSD in a PCIE 4x adaptor

    Can anyone help me out?
