i have added different non english languages but when windows first time initials it shows (getting ready) in english. i would change message in same language i have added. like i use original windows
@abbodi1406 add en-us language pack for windows 10 home china not work. 1.add en-us LP&FoD to install.wim 2.add updates to 19043.906 3.install with en-us language. 4.got blue-screen when install finished and reboot, can't into the first-run setups. Because I have a per-installed windows 10 home china on my working laptop. Is that impossible to change the language to others in this SKU?
@fch1993 it's called Home China = only zh-cn LP allowed Home China = Home Single Language, same features
@abbodi1406 Is there's any speed test of mount/save/unmount image between DISM and wimlib? The save and unmount will takes a too long time when adding many languages (for example add other 37 languages from “en_windows_server_2019_features_on_demand_x64_dvd_c6194375.iso” to Windows server 2019) The saving and unmounting time takes more than 2 hours on SSD.
@fch1993 wimlib do not support mount/unmount wim files on Windows there is no way to speed DISM operation maybe it's little faster when temp/extraction folder and mount directory are on different drives
1.Can I use DISM by Wine on Linux？ 2.About "Add language packs to base system" how does uup-converter-wimlib did it so quick (even without mounting the image)? Does this way support Multilingual?
@KleineZiege you can manually put latest version of W10UI in Updates folder -- @fch1993 1. i doubt that Wine would be faster 2. What do you mean? uup-converter do not add LPs
I can do whatever I want, as soon as I edit the original English ioT so that the German language is available I get the error in the Vmware, I use the ioT Original LTSC: en_windows_10_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x86_dvd_2255a237.iso I've also edited the updates with my script and yours, I'm stuck with the partitioning, I've never had anything like that. Speculate whether the ioT LTSC X86 is at all compatible with other language packages, because I have never seen them in German I Only test the X86 from ioT LTSC.
