    yes the key u used on vm is locked to that config of vm and would work with it only now... no other hardware config would do... read the email by MS stating the key Edit: Sorry Puffingmad

    In that case the key was bound to the VMs "hardware" and can´t be activated on the physical machine. Normally these keys do activate one system only.

    Obviously we can discuss using phone activation to activate our own legitimate keys. We just can't talk about using it for the stolen/leaked keys.

    "slui 4" is a very useful command that might help you get more activations out of your own keys than you would get with online activation

    Are you sure? Have you tried to remove a key from a pc and install it on a new one and activate with phone method?
    The WCM free upgrade key is a retail key. ;)

    Nope, not tested that way, and won´t do with my key :D. Test yourself if curious.

    FYI, I requested for the Windows 8 Media Centre Pack upgrade key from the Android ICS stock browser, and still got my key, within 24 hours as Microsoft mentioned.

    What will be better in the future:

    Pro activated with a MAK only or
    additional activated with a free WMC key?

    I just got a second activation out of the free MC key I received :biggrin3:

    1 - W8 upgrade install added MC
    1 - W8 Full TechNet .ISO install added MC w/ the same key as above install

    Depends on whether keys that are activated now still activate after Jan 2013. Then WMC is nice.

    If you don't need WMC, Win8 Enterprise with KMS has the most features and the best activation.

    I've tried about 5 different keys on a 8pro kms activated install. The first key worked but got an unkown error. Tried 4 others but they are all not working (any more). Googled for a solution but has'nt found one yet. ;)

    look after heldigard's nanoKMS V8 in the sticky thread about KMS and Charge and download it. Then hit the button as admin and you're done :D

    What mailprovider are you using? I've tried gmail and after well over 48 hours, no keys.

    try using hotmail or windows livemail ,you will get it the next day. I did it 35 times(key requests)

    Yahoo mail works perfect. Got my key(s) in literally 5 minutes.
