    On a side note, has anyone managed to activate with their MC key in the past couple of hours? As this was reported to be not working.

    Buy a legal copy of Windows 8 Pro and then perform an upgrade to Pro w/ WMC

    it seems, the show is over and only genuinely activated W8 systems can be upgraded to WMC versions with a free key. :confused:

    as long as you use a data.dat file that had been avtivated with another free key your all ok....

    Gmail over 72 hours and no key received.
    MSN mail over 24 hours and no key received.
    Yahoo mail closing 24 hours and no key received.

    Is anyone getting any keys anymore?

    Getting the keys is not the problem, they will arrive. Using them on a KMS activated Windows is the part that bacame tricky :D.

    Yes, the show is definitely over! no more activation with free WMC keys possible. We enjoyed the show as long as it lasted, even though for a brief period.
