Add Windows Media Center to Windows 8 Pro for FREE

Might be they prefer Hotmail/Outlook email addresses...but if that was the case they would mention to register via Hotmail/Outlook Account. ATM it seems, the key generation server is overwhelmed by gazillion requests from everywhere...Let's wait and see

Just received mine! Took almost 24 hours

 

Just in case noone else pointed it out (and I'm too lazy to check 13 pages if someone else beat me to it),but - the free WMC keys change the activation status of Win 8 to 'Permanent activation'. I've already replicated the same results on 3 separate machines using the WMC keys with a 8 Pro x64 /KMS install. Btw, someone might want to check if these serials can also be used to install the full OS from scratch

 

Been almost 24 for me. Tired again today using different e-mail addresses, nothing

 

It'll come,it's just that the wait grows progressively longer with every hour you registered after that link went live - people that registered for a serial a couple of hours before me all got their serials in less than 3 hours,but people a couple of hours after me are still waiting

I wish to ask something if someone will ansver to me: Can I install W8Pro RTM unactivated and to get activate after I insert the MS provided key?I mean that free key provided for WMC

 

For the same reason that they don't use a single key for any Windows installation, since this essentially changes your activation status to a different version of Windows (hence why people who activated via KMS are receiving permanent activation.) Besides, it won't always be free... it's just part of the launch promotion like the $39.99 digital upgrade and promotional retail pricing.

 

Patience is best rewarded It'll come, just there's a massive overload of key requests from all over the world..So it might take time

I bought the 14.99 Windows 8 and it took me 28 hours to get the Media key.

 

Upon clicking the submit button, something happens?, Some confirmation message?
When I press, I do not get any response. Is this normal?

That happened to me also, I used one of my other computers and it worked. Maybe you have to clear the temp. internet files. I sent my request 24hrs ago and still nothing. I guess I am getting a little greedy seeing I have a kms host server setup, lol.
Update, I just cleared the temp. internet files and that fixed the issue with submitting the request for a key.
