Hello, I have a ASUS RS160-E4/PA4 ( ---link removed, can't post link--- ) with the latest BIOS (1003). I ordered two Xeon E5450 on eBay, but the guy shipped two E5472 instant. Normally, the server should see it and just downgrade it to 1333 FSB, but it's not the case. The BIOS seems to be a Phenix BIOS. Is it possible to "mod" the BIOS to trick the server to think the E5472 is an E5450 ? That would be less trouble than ship this CPU back and waiting for the new one... If yes, I will need to install Windows on the server to be able to run the RW ? Thanks a lot!
