I have installed Server 2012 R2 Datacenter (not activated yet) and am trying to add the Hyper-V feature. I am getting an error that says "Hyper-v cannot be installed because virtualization support is not enabled in bios". I have turned on all the virtualization settings in the bios. Any ideas?

The Server OS is running on drive 3 instead of drive 0. Does that matter?

Also, my plan is to install 8.1 on a virtual drive (a completely different drive, but running with the Hyper-V feature of the Server) to use is my everyday workstation. Will I lose any performance of the 8.1 OS when working with cad files?

    My system: Dell OptiPlex 755 MT, Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.0 Ghz, 8 G ram
    Thanks

    UPDATE

After many hours of reading, I found that my settings in Bios were wrong. I had Trusted Execution (under performance) set to "on". Changed that to "off", everything works. I can't believe that you have turn that off, but you do. :D
