i have run cs4 for the entire time since its release with only the host file patched and never had a issue i have never use the dll's and never had a issue
I noticed your hosts patch has the 15 servers while the one posted in this thread has 17. I havn't compared them to see what ones you're missing but I thought I would give you a heads up.
it's was shadeyman that what I have CS4.. and I m not sure if activator block can use CS5? hmm? anyone know?
It already has 17 total so don't add anything...lol Just go to the hosts file and delete contents and save then use the install .cmd to install those IP's and your set dude...lol You could turn off internet while you did that if it makes you feel better
I haven't check my PC yet cuz I m at work now... if my PC have less than 17 then I add some of them? right? just excatly 17 lines? thanks
Dude just delete contents then save then use install .cmd file and double click it and your good to go...lol Ok Keep it simple. And Magnus silver surfer is looking for you...lol Just a heads up dude
hey guys, to anyone using this one I found a new minor technique to get rid of annoyances. Have you seen anything popup about logging into your adobe account? If so then this minor hack is right for you! Ok here is what you do: 1. Open any folder and click "Organize" then "Folder and Search Options." 2. Click View and untick "Hide extensions for known file types" 3. Go to the following directory: Code: for x32 OS go to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core for x64 OS go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core 4. Rename the file "PDapp.exe" to "PDapp.exe.old" 5. That's it, now you won't get that stupid annoying login screen anymore lol
your welcome. Just thought I should post that because of that new CS Live component asking you to login. If you do login it tells you "Invalid serial key," not like that really matters because the program is still activated, this only gets rid of the nags basically.
This is why I wish retail would come out. Encore doesn't work at all and OnLocation says some codecs not available in trial. This is the only issue I've had, but you can see limitations even though I've activated.
