Hey, is anyone having issues reinstalling the flash player activeX after installing this? I noticed that it was removed on my computer but I could not reinstall from the adobe website, it tells me "Not the most recent version". The strange thing is that it happens to the 4 computers I installed CS5 on so IDK, I think it is an adobe bug but I wanted input lol
Happy to hear that i could help a bit. My experience is that Adobe always needs some time (Updates) to get their new flash releases working well. I´m absolutely not in a hurry at all, the only thing that i really want is to get rid of that registration nag screen without renaming any files and causing other changes with that. I´m afraid i can´t work this out on my own. When the time has come that you are going to try out the commands by yourself, i would like to ask you for some screen shots from the single steps that are leading to success. I was trying out your commands for a fresh install on a HDD where i never had Adobe Products installed before but i always got the answer that command "CD" can not be started. I tried it with a burned DVD, i tried it with a selfmade ISO in Daemon Tools and i tried it with the whole Content unpacked to a folder (you must know, that i didn´t download the CS5 Master, i always buy the tryout version from Adobe for € 18,- to have 2 original DVD´s and just need a keygen to make full versions out of them). To start the whole process from a folder without the "CD" command worked best for me but then the installation doesn´t start automaticly. So i don´t really know what to do and prefer to wait for the day that you have time for testing. My CS4 Master still works perfect with Win7-64bit and i´m not in such a hurry that i MUST change to CS5 right now. You know it´s the same for me with Office 2010. I´m not willing to activate that every 180 days and i´m still very satisfied with my 2007 enterprise version Have a nice time dude

Adobe CSx stuff Man who wants those “Giga bits applications installed” what a waste. Someone needs to step forward and let Adobe talking alone. Thanks to Apple that is getting the right move. .../
I've heard a lot of designers complain that some new tools in Photoshop like ones you use for picking a person out of an image, cutting them out of the background and overlaying them on other backgrounds --- it's much easier in CS5, so they are like "Whyyyy now anyone can do it". Sorry designers, I don't think everyone needs to spend 50 hours tracing around people's hair or animal fur just to get an image retouched lol. I'm all for change and easier tools.

the hosts file fix works fine there were 2 updates today in fact it updated just fine. no issues you dont need the dll file
