yea very lucky i can't download any at all now, bn trying all daybn getting errors and stuff, :( so trying to find it on a filesharing site, no luck so far, hoping some uploads it to enterupload.com, as they have good dwnload speeds up to 300KB/s, with great file sizes up to 500mb as a free registered user. still looking tho,

If you dont have Adobe acc you can create for free! Log in and download anything from adobe direct! I downloaded Master CS5 with full speed with IDM for 30 min! When you download just patch host and start install when ask for key enter key!

I dided yesterday and everything is working fine and now all is ok! No problem! Its fully activated! :D

Freestyler i saved your script host.vbs but when i right click it, it has not an option to run it as administrator.

Open a Command Prompt with Administrator privileges, then execute host.vbs from there

You dont need that script, just open in Notepad file C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and add this:

    Code:
    127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com

You have to run notepad with Administrator privileges as well, otherwise you won't be able to save the changes :p

I think its a bit strange the software cost 2.6k and all you do i a simple notepad edit and you just saved 2.6k which is equivalent to a decent desktop rig.

Hi freestyler I opened notepad as admin and then saved as Host.vbs but also when I right click no admin is there. Also is there any confirmation. For example with CS4 we used a .cmd file that had this code and gave confirmation.

    Code:
    @ echo off
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 0 echo 127.0.0.1activate.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1practivate.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1ereg.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1activate.wip3.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1wip3.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.13dns-3.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.13dns-2.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1adobe-dns.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1adobe-dns-2.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1adobe-dns-3.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1ereg.wip3.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1activate-sea.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    IF %ERRORLEVEL% NEQ 1 echo 127.0.0.1activate-sjc0.adobe.com>>%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    FIND /C /I "activate.adobe.com" %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    echo
    cls
    cls
    echo Server Blacklist Added!
    pause
Is this still usable if replace the IP addresses for new one's if there is any change and does it matter for x64 bit the way it is written. Also there was a .dll file that we used with CS4 that kept prevented licence expiry and will that be an issue? One last thing so we first place by whatever means the proper IP's in the host file then start setup then enter key when prompted?

    Just curious

    Thank You:)

You are mixing up things, use the host.vbs with Elevated (Administrator privileges) Command Prompt, or Open Notepad with Administrator privileges and open C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and paste in the lines manually
There is no confirmation, but you easly could add a MsgBox call add the end of the script, eg: MsgBox("Server Blacklist Added!")

The servers for CS4 and CS5 are all identical, so you could use your old script as well

I'll just use my old script since it has the confirmation. I just noticed that the 14 servers were the same...lol

    Thanks dude:)

Check again, practivate.adobe.com is in my list, as my list is sortened correctly + can't you count? (17 entries in total)
ereg.wip3.adobe.com is also in Kalliedog list...what did you use to compare? I hope you did not use your eyes, otherwise it is time to get those checked :) :)

My bad...lol So basically Kalliedog has to add 3 servers to his list or Adobe might try to validate?

    Thanks again FreeStyler:)

Challenge of Reverse Engineering (that canadian group here in Canada) has released some act** tools for Production Premium and Dreamweaver.

Let's see how long Wzor takes to post that.

    Hello.
Don't mind if I ask, I have Photoshop CS4 & Dreamweaver CS4 currently installed but I would like to try Master Collection CS5 so, do I have to uninstall PS CS4 & DW CS4?
    What about Adobe Bridge, etc?

Will the current CS5 installation override my current CS4?
