FYI... You can also use the windows firewall with advanced security to block any apps from phoning home. Works in vista and win7. Do your patches manually. I do this for any app i'm not sure of.

You should write a script to do those settings...lol Just a suggestion:)

I wonder if peerblock could be set up to block those phone home calls or servers IP's

Once again, I'm back with questions... XD

I've noticed that these startup is appearing, are they needed so, can I disable them? I prefer not to have useless stuffs happening during startup.
    SwitchBoard "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\SwitchBoard\SwitchBoard.exe"
    AdobeCS5ServiceManager "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CS5ServiceManager\CS5ServiceManager.exe" -launchedbylogin
    AdobeAAMUpdater-1.0 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\UWA\UpdaterStartupUtility.exe"

OK, just found out why I could download yesterday directly from links on first page.

Previously I had gone to Adobe's website and clicked on trial links, but then got the pop up prompt to register/login. So thought, screw that, and then went to the before mentioned first page and hit links, and they worked.

Today just now I wanted PS alone and tried links, no good, then did same as yesterday, and now downloading PS12 without registering. So as long as you go and get cookied at Adobe, no need to register to download.

also after extracting the 7z files its 6.34gb whereas the uncompressed iso disks r 11gb....we're still hvin roughly 4.5gb unaccounted for n acrobat n the other stuff i mentioned comes nowhere near 4.5gb !!!

I've download the Master Collection CS5 but Acrobat 9 Pro doesn't come with it so, I download it seperately, I've gotten Photoshop 'activated' and such but not Acrobat 9 Pro. I have Google'd patch, keys, etc but none worked. XD
