Well my experience with the trail is: - no Acrobat 9 (strange ) - about 10 errors when I started installation - no Photoshop 64bit nor Encore installed due to some random errors. The worst thing is that I tried to install it about 5 times and it still fails. Anyone had the same issue? Maybe I should just wait for the retail release to 'leak' somewhere?
Some people are having probs but most are not. Not sure if there is a hash for adobe MC dl but maybe investigate that. IN the trial which can be used as real deal with key they don not include acrobat. I have someone asking me for help right now that can't get it to say legit key but it works...lol Hope you figure it out. Although I've zero problems there seems to be some bugs or something
That's odd, I installed it on 2 different computers and I never had any install issues whatsoever so IDK what is going on dude. Did you have the old CS4 installed? Did you remove it? I wonder if you did to either question if it somhow conflicts with CS5 even though some ppl reported haveing both side-by-side.
Can't seem to find retail MC anywhere. I think the difference is the lack of Acrobat (I use Pro Extended with AdobeLM.dll patch activated before install CS5). The trial also is missing some codecs, and I've had issues with Encore (something about royalty serial even though I used leaked key and blocked activation). What I noticed is that in the payloads folder, some folders have the word trial at the end of the name. On my retail CS4, these folders exist (with lower version numbers), but don't contain the word trial.
wat iv also noticed is that premier pro n after effects CS5 r 64bit only....so the MC contains 32bit CS4 versions of both these apps but i find em missing in the trial....also plenty o codecs aint there n wt every1 seems to hv noticed.....acrobat aint there either.....wzor doesnt hv retail isos yet so i guess we're jus gonna hv to w8...
Hi Guys, I want to share my experience with all of you. I download Adobe CS5 Master Collection Suites directly from Adobe.com. I used the similar to host.vbs and install programs, input product key and at the final, it said my key is invalid. I could not open or start any program at all. The host.script is basically activation blocker that Adobe does not phone home. In my case, I think it did phone home. I am not like most of you techie in any shape or form. I am a novice and here to learn. When reviewing Adobe products I had installed, 3 programs came to mind. Adobe Reader 9.3, flash and Macromedia. I suspect the existing Adobe programs overide the activation blocker and dial home. I uninstalled all adobe programs (CS5, Adobe Reader 9.3, flask & Macromedia), run host.vbs by shutting down anti-malware, anti-virus and ZoneAlarm Pro. All security programs off, I installed CS5, input key, it's activated without phoning home. I can open all programs and updated help files and programs. After installation complete, there is no error message that said invalid key. MDL has strict no warez here to keep us from big guys' harm way, let's keep it that way. Please do not email me for key. I have no key I just found it in the Internet. Sorry, I am not trying to be harsh or unwilling to help.
Here's a tip for those that don't know. Only the 7zip file is needed for installation. I use WinRAR to extract the file and run set-up.exe.
OK. I feel like a complete retard. I have the Adobe CS5 Master collection image. I also have PowerISO installed. And I cant' install adobe CS5. I believe I am supposed to mount the ISO but I'm not exactly sure what or how to do that. Can someone please give me a simple step-by-step on how I mount the ISO and run it (exactly which PowerISO commands I need to execute)? Can I not just use winZIP and extract the folders and run setup? that doesn't seem to work.
How did you get an ISO. The Adobe file most are working with is a .rar file Anyway with an ISO converter you either open it and extract contents to a folder or right click the image and mount to virtual drive then look in my computer and then open that drive and install
Thanks for your help. When I click on Set-up, I keep getting an error: We've encountered an problem. Installer failed to initialize... Sniff...
A little correction, they are actually 7z file, which is completely different from RAR file; though they can be opened and/or extracted by WinRAR, btw thanks for the New Activation Blocker.........
I knew that I'm just so used to saying .rar it was automatic...lol I should have said compressed file...lol Yea MasterDisasters scripts work rad
are there any ways to make CS5 design premium suite long-term usable apart form the trial time? nothing found
