    In fact, this app encrypt the backed-up data...

    It's bad, if the app fails, the user can't restore manually :eek:

    No plans for add more compatibility for my Tokens Manager, in fact, I'll add in an next time, the Windows 8 Full Support...

    And, it's become as Windows Vista + Windows Server 2008/2011 Family + Windows 7 + Windows 8 + Office 2010 / 2012/13 Activation backup solution :)

    Josh....If I install windows with the key that is on the bottom of my laptop will the tokens.dat program work to restore next time I reinstall windows or is this just for when the computer has the factory install and then you back that up? Does it work either way or just from the factory image which is I guess SLP way they do it. Thanks.

    If you've the latest backup, can install the Windows in trial mode and restore the activation perfectly...

    The key input on install not will cause problems with an restore, is cool restore with an not touched activation :)

    I'm not understanding your reply Josh.....What backup? I am doing a clean install. All I am asking is will the tokens program work to make me genuine if I had used my product key from bottom of computer to do a clean install...Then I back that up with tokens program....The next time I clean install will the tokens program work as I am using real windows key and not the factory SLP key method. Thanks for clearing this up for me.

    Well, here's the method of backup:

    1 - Backup the activation by Advanced Tokens Manager;
    2 - Reinstall the Windows with an Clean Install [Same edition] - (one activation backup is valid for all other installs of the same version on the same machine);
    3 - Restore the backup with Advanced Tokens Manager;

    And, it will activate the system as the 1st parameter, you can use your key on the Windows Install, is good install the Windows without enter the product key (it will not activate online and become as trial).

    I have installed Office 2010 SP1 and Visio Premium 2010 SP1.
    When I start backup for Office, the found and shown key (CRC32 also) was for Visio, and nest appeared a message tah my Key is not for this aplication. Reapeat again.

    I have introduce again the key fot Office, and my backup was saved.
    I think maybe will be a good idea to make a switch for Office or Office Applications.

    Questions - the backup is for office 2010 or for visio 2010?

    This application will backup all office system activation.

    And, you can view by config.ini, what the key the application have done with the backup.

    Well, please read the last 5 characters of the product key and enter...

    If the key isn't for your product, simply enter an random key and edit the config.ini, entering the correct keys.

    in the config.ini were both keys: for office and for application.
    the token in this case is for what key?

    One tokens.dat stores the activation data for all office products.

    I took possession of a brand new Dell 620 from my friend. I used Tokens to save the activation. I wiped out the machine as I hate all that crap that comes installed on a new machine. I get a clean machine this way. After the computer comes back up I tried to restore the Tokens and it said it succeeded. I rebooted and it was not activated. I did it a second time and it said success but again no activation. I had to use the 25 digit serial on the tower to activate? Why didn't this work? Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

    The machine has been activated by Phone or Online?

    Here's the ways:

    If is OEM, Activation not has been restored by - Incorrect serial or activation issue / problems with OEM Partition;

    You also can try this commands:

    PS: The first OS installed is x64 as new install?

    If not work, please post the MGADiag report...

    It was OEM originally as it was factory install with Dell's Slic serial and the other thing. My media I use is from digital river that I find on here???? Too late to try anything as I just used the serial on the top of the box. Just wondered why itsaid it was successful but wasn't. Thanks. Yes 64 Bit both times.

    It's brand new so there was no need to activate the original new out of the box computer..So it is OEM. I used install media that we get on here from digital river whatever that is? Now to activate with the serial on the box I activated over the internet with key on tower.

    Ok..Just gave it another try with a co-workers ASUS laptop.....Doesn't activate......I backed it up and was successful..I clean installed Windows 7 and then restored the tokens with your program...It said successful...Still not activated....I even tried going to Microsoft's site and going thru the activation thing..Still not activated...Sure I could use the serial on bottom of laptop or use Daz's loader but why now have I tried your program 2X and it doesn't work for my stuff? Howcould it work for others successfully and not for me..Makes no sense.
