Edit tokens file to get a compatible activation for different hardware isn't my area and I'm not able to do it because I may have copyright problems against Microsoft itself.
If the MSDN edition and build is the same from the backed up activation, no problems. Enterprise, Enterprise N and E is not equals and the activation won't work inside it.
@Jessica Alba The application can't decode correctly the Product Key installed. For further information, what's your product key channel installed on the Windows 8? (VL / MAK / RETAIL)? And, your product key match with the activation preview box? If you can, send me by PM your product key installed for testing purposes? PS: Do you have the OFFICE 2010 installed on your computer?
Hi, can I use this progam to restore backup from my "store" folder I have already backed up ? I mean if I manually create folder "Windows Activation Backup" and copy the files to it. I already tried that and program offers me "delete backup", so It clearly discovered backup files, but it also tells me that the backup folder is invalid and that some files are missing. I imagine its because there is no config.ini. Can you tell me what should i write into config.ini file ?
I cant make backup because Im on non activated system already. All I have is backed up "store" folder and I cant seem to get it working manualy.
An MDL member has been reported an BSOD when try to restore the activation. I'll see it with calm and release the BETA 1 of v3.5 here.
I just installing right now the MSDN version on my computer to get a more clean results about the issue.
