The Integrity Checker concept always help on Windows Phone Activation Restore. Tokens.dat didn't can have major changes when the backup is restored. The unique change is the new Offline Activation ID that is updated on the activation restore. I can see light changes on this line: Code: [ 22:13:33 ] Checking the restored activation files integrity [ 22:13:34 ] Activation files integrity doesn't match It didn't affect the restore at all. The image is written when the restore ends. This version looks good on all my tests. I haven't any Phone activated product at this time. More testers is always welcome for this beta stage. And thanks again for ambidav, Alphawaves, CODYQX4 and cepheid46e2 for look on my application as tester with success.
Nice Work Josh ! Thanks! I have multiboot with some vhd's, win 7 and win 8. Backup is greyed out if there is allready the folder Windows Activation Backup. So if i want a backup for all the systems, I have to rename the Windows Activation Backup folder. Same with restore, program only checks if there is a Windows Activation Backup folder! Now I have a few backup folders, so if I want to restore I must rename the folder to Windows Activation Backup! Should be nice if each folder has the name of the product version
May you named backup folder for each backup on each windows version? I mean When I backup windows 8 Pro, my backup folder name "windows 8 Pro Activation backup" when I backup Windows 8 Ent My backup folder name "windows 8 Ent Activation backup" so its easy to manage backup.
Yes I know, but when you try to restore, the option is not available. You must rename the folder you want to restore from. Not that much work, but should be nice to have option to choose the folder to restore from
@Josh Cell Today I have backed up activation data with ATM 3.5 beta 2 and reinstalled Windows 8 x64 Enterprise. I activated again Win 8, MAK, Phone, 64 bit without any problem. Thank you!
I've removed because security purposes. I'd like to work with only one product for this BETA stage facilitating the code maintenance. Personally If I've many versions, I make an copy of Advanced Tokens Manager (It have the Advanced Tokens Manager Executable and Windows Activation Backup Directory) and rename it. I don't like to touch on Windows Activation Backup directory. But this does not affect anything, it is a matter of organization. On the Instructions: The v3.3 version isn't compatible with Windows 8. The Office 2010 activation doesn't depends on the Windows 8. But of Office 15 (2013) it depends. I like to add the support for this office on the next version. Thanks for your feedback.
I'd like to see testers for Windows 7 Phone Activations. The Windows 8 activation system is a bit more different from Windows 7...
3.5 working smooth on Windows 8. For those wondering, you can use 3.3 to activate Office 2010 saved from Win. 7 over into Win. 8
I haven't tested Phone Activation Restore on Windows 6.1 Kernel. But you can call to Microsoft if it fails. Please always post the log file generated after restore on the root of the application.
