Code: Starting the Windows Activation Restore on Windows 8 Pro at 17:34:51 of 2012/08/23 with Advanced Tokens Manager v3.5 BETA 1 by Josh Cell Software's [ 17:34:51 ] Disabling the Network connections [ 17:34:52 ] Success [ 17:34:52 ] Starting the Software Protection Platform Service [ 17:34:53 ] Preparing the activation system for the activation restore [ 17:35:19 ] Writing the Product Key [ 17:35:20 ] Success [ 17:35:20 ] Stopping Software Protection Platform Service [ 17:36:13 ] Restoring the Activation Files [ 17:36:13 ] Success [ 17:36:13 ] Starting the Software Protection Platform Service [ 17:36:46 ] Rebuilding the Activation System [ 17:36:46 ] Checking the restored activation files integrity [ 17:36:46 ] Activation files integrity match [ 17:36:47 ] Backup has been restored with success [ 17:36:47 ] Checking if license reinstall is needed for this activation [ 17:36:48 ] Isn't needed, the Windows is activated [ 17:36:48 ] Checking the activation status [ 17:36:53 ] The Windows has been activated with success by the backup [ 17:36:53 ] Enabling the Network connections [ 17:36:54 ] Success Thank you for using this software. This is the log file that was not posted with my previous tests. I swapped around a couple more activations after this test but all the log files are the same except for the time stamp. They were swapping between inactivate, and 3 different activation files all with no problem. Just posting in case this helps per request. Multiple activation files is made much easier if you just save them in another folder and swap them as needed. Still works great. Swaps took place between KMS Activated License, 2 Phone Activated License and a cleared registry with Generic Inactivate default installation serial with no problems.
If backup on Windows 8 PRO only can be work on Windows 8 PRO again. And. The KMS activated product has a fixed expiration. It will expires on this time independently of the restore time. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Thanks for all that tests this application..
Yes the KMS activation license date was still counting from the date it was first activated. Alas, 174 days to find another KMS . Just a backup file for when other methods fail, just playing with it.
This tool restored perfectly my activation made by phone on win8 pro x64 ! No need to remove the key that comes with win8 pro msdn. After I made a fresh install of Win8 pro msdn, I directly ran the program selecting activation restore and all was done in 2 mins! However, I noticed that even though it is v.3.5 beta 2, the log still mentions v.3.5 beta 1. Very fast and simple to use. Thanks a lot and keep up your good work Josh!
I'd like to add the Office 2013 support on this application. It's very easy one time that the Office activation is embedded on the Windows. But I don't know if it occurs on Windows 7..
Advanced Tokens Manager has been worked as well. The Microsoft has been blocked the activation key because it's leaked.
but assuming that it had activated, and went back format and install, restore the backup, restart it goes that, then of no use to backup
Windows 8 checks periodically if the key is valid. After activated also. The use of leaked keys even is crappy and fails on Windows 8. One time or another it will be deactivated.
I'm curious about the need to reinstall in order to use this. Is that always going to be true? If so, why? When a machine deactivates, is there something very obscure done that's impossible to undo except by actual reactivation?
If your key is GENUINE you can use without any problem. After an activation, the Windows 8 try to see if the installed key is valid. Advanced Tokens Manager reactivates the system. Here's the reason of deactivating the systems. Just your key HAS BEEN BLOCKED.
