How to restore Win 8 Pro with Media Center activated by Phone. I backed up activation but wonder how to restore because Win 8 with Media Center need 2 times activation. First is when install Win 8 Pro, second is when add Media Center. Or I need add Media Center to Win 8 Pro .ISO then restore after install. Plz help.
Adding the Media Center on .ISO always is an good choice. @new_hack Enterprise Evaluation isn't supported by this application. Activation restore always is blocked on Eval Systems. @MDL I haven't sure, but the genuine checks can be down if you've changed the Date and Time of the computer for the correspondent of your backup.
After add WMC into .ISO and reinstall, I restored and have problem. here are log: Code: Starting the Windows Activation Restore on Windows 8 Pro with Media Center at 00:46:00 of 2012/08/29 with Advanced Tokens Manager v3.5 BETA 1 by Josh Cell Software's [ 00:46:00 ] Disabling the Network connections [ 00:46:05 ] Success [ 00:46:05 ] Starting the Software Protection Platform Service [ 00:46:05 ] Preparing the activation system for the activation restore [ 00:46:25 ] Writing the Product Key [ 00:46:25 ] Fails [ 00:46:25 ] Stopping Software Protection Platform Service [ 00:46:27 ] Restoring the Activation Files [ 00:46:27 ] Success [ 00:46:27 ] Starting the Software Protection Platform Service [ 00:46:31 ] Rebuilding the Activation System [ 00:46:31 ] Checking the restored activation files integrity [ 00:46:33 ] Activation files integrity doesn't match [ 00:46:33 ] Critical error when restoring: [ Activation files restore error ] / [ Invalid Product Key ]. Code: [ 00:46:25 ] Writing the Product Key [ 00:46:25 ] Fails The product key has been failed on install. Your key is for WMC or not? PRO keys isn't equals to WMC. Check the product key on Config.ini and try to restore again. Use VAMT Tool to check your key if has more problems.
Can we restore a MAK token that is currently blocked for activation by M$ servers though I had still got mine activated while it was not ?
@pramodm When the Windows detects the internet, it try to activate the key online deactivating an blocked key. See: Code: @MDL I haven't sure, but the genuine checks can be down if you've changed the Date and Time of the computer for the correspondent of your backup.
I haven't the sure, but cache.dat doesn't stores the last genuine check for the key. I can delete this cache file and the blocked activation won't down as it. For me the backup of cache.dat is always unnecessary. That it stores only log procedures of SPPSVC. On some testers they can continue using a blocked key simply backing the computer clock for the last phone activation, and the OS not checks the key validity. With my application, the MAK Blocked keys is restored flawless while not have an internet connection. On the restart, the OS check online and down the activation. If the key isn't blocked, it checks online and return success without block the actual activation. @tithitoy Then you can change your key on Config.ini for the PRO at first activated if you have. Then use the WMC for activate later.
Well, this file is touched when you'll refresh the activation as data.dat. Anyway is good the untouched concept. I've done it with tokens.dat integrity checker.
Maybe I can make an backup of the registry on Office 15 and get it done without reinstalling the key. Anyone can see if Office Product Keys can be installed from "InstallProductKey" method from SoftwareLicensingService on WMI?
