Yes.. KMS Activations of the Office 2013 are partially supported, because the activation of these products is embedded. If are you running the Office 2013 under the Windows 7 or Office 2010 under Windows 8 and earlier, you can't proceed the backup from a KMS activated product, because it isn't embedded on the Windows and make traces on the registry.
Hi Josh and Friends: I got the Activation Backup with Advanced Tokens Manager v3.5 BETA 5 without CRC problems and I noticed the following: 1. Ran Advanced Tokens Manager.exe 2. Got the first screen and had delay for more that 60 seconds with W8ProMC Product Key 3. Ran Activation Backup and requested me 3-times the Input Product Key for Office, Visio and Project 2013 4. Finally, I got the Activation Backup all in one directory in other words, I got the Activation Backup for my W8ProMC, Office 2013, Visio 2013 and Project 2013 all in one directory... Josh, is it correct the performance? Thanks TecMan
Ok.. Isn't abnormal and depends of your machine speed. Many queries are requested on the startup. Ok.. It have requested your product keys that haven't been decoded from the registry. Note that all this keys is stored on "\Activation Backup\Config.ini" file. No problems. Windows 8 and Office 2013 use the same files on the activation. Yes, you'll flawless restore it from a new install. Please install the RETAIL Edition from the Office 2013, not the VL. And always before the restore.
I have a question. After a fresh install of Win8 + Office 2013, I must enter Office 2013 product key after intall, or ATM do it with activation restore ?
Advanced Tokens Manager v3.5 BETA 5 will do all the work. You just need of have the Office 2013 installed before the restore.
Hi Josh: Thanks for your relay...just some questions about Activation Restore: 1. Need to install Windows Pro 8 with Media Center without the Product Key? 2. Need to install Microsoft Office 2013, Visio 2013 and Project 2013 without Product Keys? 3. Run Advanced Tokens Manager.exe v3.5 BETA 5 4. Run Activation Restore for all Microsoft Products (W8ProMC, Office, Visio, Project 2013) 5. Run Windows Update Josh, Is it correct? Thanks, TecMan
Yes, without product keys. But if the system requires it, you can take a look on the internet and install with any leaked RETAIL product key then restore the activation. Using leaked keys, you can't activate the system, but it will be installed without any problem. Is good use the useless leaked, than your real product key(s) that will be activated online when found an internet connection.
I have got an error... My OS is W8 Ent x64 VL (kms activate) + Office 2013 x64 (kms activate). View attachment 19102
Yes. It can restore Phone activations. Really bad. You need to input the correct product key into the box when it haven't detected for success on the restore.
I have Win8 and Office15 activated but when i do backup it shows the last digits for the Office installation and not Win8? Ok get it now, the win8 key window confirmation came after Office15 window.
Thanks Josh for all your work on ATM. Now that we have a method of activating both Win 8 VL and Office 2013 VL, is there a pressing need for ATM? It seems that it might be a little redundant now.
