Anybody advise on how to backup Office 2013 activation please?

Win 8 Pro (x64) MAK Activated
Office 2013 Pro Plus (x64) (Retail Activated)

I have a Windows Activation backup that works fine (store folder from c:\Windows\System32\spp\), have restored it several times and all is well. But now I have a Retail Activated Office 2013 too. I read that it was the same procedure - just backup the same store folder. Tried that and restored a drive image, copied the store folder back but neither Win 8 or Office 2013 were activated (fortunately I'd kept my Win 8 activation backup safe)! Did I need to input my Office retail key somewhere along the line?

Tried ATM but obviosuly it won't work - MAK activated Windows 8. Any help plz?

Your Windows Activation Backup from '\System32\spp' not contains the Office 2013 activation if you've backed up it before the activation of the Office or backed up with an older version of this app.

You need to make other backup that will be saved with all keys in one place called of 'Activation Backup' on the root of the EXE.

Windows 8 and Office 2013 has the same backup system, same files.....

    I removed my GRACE key with this command : cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\ospp.vbs" /unpkey:LAST5DIGITS

My grace key is gone, checked with : cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\ospp.vbs" /dstatus

But... nothing change in Advanced Tokens Manager, the software always see my removed GRACE key, how could it be ??

It isn't a problem, and this uninstalled key not will be backed up.

Sometimes, the Office not is able to clean the registry, and the old key will be stored without been installed.

Can be displayed a Window that will ask for the wrong decoded keys.

    Thank you Josh.

Now that they are both activated just backup the store folder from c:\Windows\System32\spp\ again?

Edit: Sorted now, thank you Josh. ;)

Unfortunately, only copying the store folder to the original place, you're making an fail-unsafe procedure, and both activations can be down in a update that make genuine checks on the activation system.

This application not only backup and restore this folder, but much more, reinstalling all the keys and refreshing all activation system, making the activation to be untouched and genuine for all updates.

I have experienced it many times only restoring the SPP folder on Windows 7, all my MAK Keys are down when validate online and install the KB971033.

I see, I've also experienced it with the Office.

But always is good make the product key restore for all backups for security reasons. As I said, I've problems only restoring the backup files on Windows 7, and it will occurs on Windows 8 when the genuine/validate for Windows Update was out, is the expected.

It's an Office product key problem ? Not Windows 8 ?

How I do to view my Office 2013 product key ? Because I don't remember it.

I have a Notbook with Office 2013 activated, and I don't know How I do to find my product key with T28P9
