Well, I need of English spelling fixes to release the final version on the way. Anyone have time to help me with that?
why don't you just list all word that you will use in the app here then people can give their suggestion
The translation things are the same from this version. Basically I will make internal code and spelling revisions on this version to release the final version... Anyway, in a few hours I will post the application text here that I want to fix spelling issues.
@Josh Cell: Thanks for the tool, works well for Windows 8 Backup but I am having issues with Office Home & Student 2013 RETAIL not being detected with the tool. I had previously had Office 2010 installed and had issues uninstalling that particular app, had to download a fix from M$ to do a clean uninstall as it was still detecting Office 2010 and giving me updates for it. Could this be the issue that is not being detected? Your help would be appreciated. Thanks
Hello, I have two pc's with Windows 8 and i had microphone problems with one of my pc's. So i reset this computer and install its original OS (Windows 7) and i restore my license with Advanced Tokens Manager 3.5 rc3. But now i installed Windows 8 again and i tried to restore my licensei have a problem with restoring. It says me that there was missing files. Then i realized that the config.ini file was missing by restoring my other computer. So i created a new file named config.ini and i wrote in all that was in the config file of my other computer, by changing the key, and the CRC's that i found by reading the data.dat and tokens.dat files. Now files are complete but now, it says me : " The stored backup doesn't match with your product edition. " . I don't know what to do. I read that we must enter the key manually but i didn't find how. Could someone help me ? Thanking you in advance.
First of all i want to thank you Josh, My Question is, if i 've used one of the leaked MAK keys of windows 8 and office 2013 or one of the two products, and that key got blacklisted by MS , Does the backup by your tool still work ?
Hi Josh and thanks for a really useful tool - I have used this many times and had no problems untill now. I need to re-build a Toshiba Satellite with Vista SP2 and Office 2010 and am able to backup the Vista activation but not the Office 2010 activation as it states Microsoft Office 2010 Not Detected - please see image. View attachment 22160 Any ideas why Office is not detected? Many thanks Keith
Thanks for the quick response and apologies for not realising there was a newer version - will try tomorrow and report back.
OK using v3.5 RC 4 - it states Microsoft Office Click-to-Run x86 detected, but does not show the key. am I right in thinking that this is because the key used is Retail / MAK key and therefore not present in the registry? Many thanks
I fixed my first problem. The program didn't find my windows license because in my config.ini file, my version was windows 8 professional with media center. When i deleted "with media center" the program found my license but it doesn't want to restore my license. Does anyone knows how to fix this problem ?
You can only restore the same Edition you backed up. You must be on ProWMC first before restoring the license data.
You will kill and brick your activation service when try to restore the backup in another Windows edition... Solution = Install and restore on the same edition since 'with media center' Windows 8 Pro edition is not the same from Windows 8 Pro...
