The rearm really will not break the restore since you are not changing the hardware or bricking the activation. The only way that I have is check if it is working on real machines, but I am sick for some days and can not do anything at these days. 1 - This application will do all the work without issues, but anyway if you are doing it by your hands, it is necessary. 2 - Anytime is ok. 3 - I don't know about this application, but the Advanced Tokens Manager are in the place for two years with intensive development.
my friend Josh Cell if you have some new build and need to test it i'll be very happy to help you. just send me a link via pm and i'll report to you back here. be well, thank u!!!
Yes we're all here to help... the development cycle takes time - just be patient... @Josh Get well soon
really Josh Cell is under the weather and he has other projects that he works on besides what he releases here. ATM at the moment is perfectly fine. these demands for Win8.1preview are kind of not pressing issues imho. relax guys/gals
Well, I am unable to do anything at the moment here because I am sick since the last week and it is not a good notice since I am unable to work literally. Anyway I am thinking in recode all this application to a better performance and less issues with Win8.1. I will have to test it before, so I will need to do real tests inside real machines. I will see if my laptop is able to do it.
ATM 3.5RC4 is mentioned in the new august 2013 issue of the German "Com! Magazine". Congratulations Josh! Com! is a very good magazine with lots of howto's etc., in this case an 8-page article about creating a Windows 8 setup DVD from a restore partition.
Yea, I have noticed it. Anyway, I will need to take a fixed time per day to work inside these projects. Today I am in a full overload with other projects inside other company. After the ZOTAC's WinUSB Maker release I will have some time to do the official WinUSB Maker version, then work inside the Advanced Tokens Manager. I think I can do all inside this month.
Thanks mate! Was hoping to find something to backup my MSDN key activated Windows 8, with this tool I can backup the OEM activation of my toshiba laptop as well!
we all waiting for this my friend!!! give a little time to Josh Cell and i'm sure he'll do his magic again!!!
Would guess it needs Win 8.1 go RTM and beeing leaked/distributed. Noone knows so far what actually will survive in RTM, as MS changed a lot from Win 8 RC to RTM.
Well, I will not have the sure about the activation restore of Windows 8 on Windows 8.1 working as well because these two versions really don't have the same product info inside the activation files (Windows 8 (6.2 kernel) is not Windows 8.1 (6.3 kernel) around the activation system).
