I backup 8.1 Pro x64 online activation and Office 2013 x64 with phone activation using MTK 2.4.9. After a clean install of 8.1 x64 and Office 2013 x86, I updated both through WU. After restarting, I restored backup using also MTK. After restoring back up was done, the only thing I made was using CMD comand slmgr /ipk and entered my original license key of Windows 8 (same from the back up). Both, Windows 8.1 and office 2013 activated.

Sorry, this is about the 4th topic where I drop my problem, but I can't restore my manual (without ATM) activation backup of Windows 8.1 enterprise (with all updates, that's RollupA and a couple more). Now I will not repeat all the things I tried, but believe me, I tested almost every possible scenario. What I would like to know: Has anybody actually successfully backed up and restored 8.1 ("Taiwan" KMS) activation? If so, I'll shut up and keep trying. Also, Josh Cell, when you have time could you please elaborate on why/ which things have changed in 8.1 that prevent ATM to work correctly? ATM (like my manual testO doesn't work for 8.1 either (at least in this scenario), right?
I don't know what you are trying to say, but it looks like some problem inside the activation restore right? You can not change your hardware and reactivate any previously backed-up activation data. You need to activate this new backup around the Microsoft again.

Just tested & Token restore for KMS activated machine is not working same as retail online activated... Notification Reason: 0xC004F056. or sometime error as "non core edition" with /ipk, /dlv after token restore.... ATM support 8.1 & successful restoration is only possible with phone activation.... ATM don't support KMS activated systems...
I don't think kms activation is supported at all with ATM. Win 8.1 is supported IF it was phone activated. Online activation is not supported. edit: just notice rrohela posted the same at the end of his msg
