Well, your answer tells me that Offline Activation Backup/Restore, for example, via Skype works perfectly. Am I right?
We, the Hispanics actually do need Spanish interface. Once again, I'm here again offering my work to accomplish that. Take a look at my signature.
I need informations to restore my activation... I will reinstall my PC this Week-end (Windows 8.1 Pro permanent activation), I just do an Activation Backup. I want to know if ALL the drivers are important before restore, or just the Important drivers (Graphic Card, Chipset, Sound Card) ? Other question, for Office 2013, ATM insert the Product key into Office 2013 at restore ? First start is needed to enter serial or not ? Because in the install I don't enter any serial. Thanks.
Is it possible to restore a Office 2013 activation that was backed up in Windows 8 to a Windows 8.1 system? Office 2013 was activated by phone, however the Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 activation I don't know exactly as it just automatically used the key in the SLIC table or whatever.
Same office 2013 nstallation id in Win8 or Win8.1 using the same product key/Hardware On the same hardware, same office 2013 install id is generated using the same product key. confirmation id from phone activation can be used in win 8 or win 8.1 (no hardware change).
So only phone activations are kept by Advanced Tokens Manager right... I tried Skype activation on my upgrade key + wmc key as I wanted to keep backup activation, 1. Disable network get phone activation then enable network and use skype no issues getting Windows 8.1 to activate 2. Then I disable network again to force offline WMC activation, then reactivate network and again use Skype... to get WMC to activate 3. But in middle of attempting I input wrong number I decided to cancel and retry, somehow in middle of it my windows went and did online activation of my WMC key. So will Advanced Tokens Manager be able to keep this activation backup? Since first part was done offline phone activation but wmc was done online activation Doh!
Hi all, I have a problem with activation ID. I installed Windows 8.1 ( Activated by phone ) and Office 2013 ( Activated by phone ), I keep the product key, Installation ID and Confirmation ID. Now I re-install fresh Windows 8.1 and office 2013. I used the same previous product key of Windows 8.1 & Office 2013 and Enter key offline .... the result is that the Installation ID of Windows 8.1 and Office 2013 have changed with different numbers .... I can not activate offline again. I don't change any hardwares !!! I wonder why it changed the installation ID ..... I've used this method for Windows 8 .... Nothing has changed. Does anyone know the reason why ??? Thanks for your concern.
Hi guys, I am having an issue with this. This is what I am trying to do: - New HP Pro 3500 PCs. They have no product key, uses BIOS activation. Comes with Win7 installed and Win8 media. - Backed up activation on one using ATM - Installed a new image using MDT, same version Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1. This was a reference image created from directly from MSDN media. - Installed Windows updates etc to get .NET 4 - Ran the ATM restore with an error: The product can't be activated by the backup Here is the full log: Starting the Activation Restore on Microsoft Windows 7 Professional at 10:36:03 of 2013/12/06 with Advanced Tokens Manager v3.5 RC 5 by Josh Cell Softwares [ 10:36:03 ] Disabling the Network connections [ 10:36:06 ] Success [ 10:36:06 ] Preparing the activation system for the activation restore [ 10:36:06 ] Stopping Software Protection Platform Service [ 10:36:23 ] Restoring the Tokens.dat [ 10:36:23 ] Fails [ 10:36:23 ] Starting the Software Protection Platform Service [ 10:36:25 ] Writing the Product Key [ 10:36:25 ] Installing the product key number: 1 [ 10:36:36 ] Success [ 10:36:36 ] Stopping Software Protection Platform Service [ 10:36:39 ] Restoring the Activation Files [ 10:36:39 ] Restoring the Tokens.dat [ 10:36:39 ] Success [ 10:36:39 ] Starting the Software Protection Platform Service [ 10:36:42 ] Rebuilding the Activation System [ 10:36:42 ] Checking the restored activation files integrity [ 10:36:43 ] Activation files integrity match [ 10:36:44 ] Backup has been restored with success [ 10:36:44 ] Checking if license reinstall is needed for this activation [ 10:36:44 ] Is needed. I need a fresh install with activation. Thanks
@bobdonkey If its comes with Windows 7, then why don't you prepare the media by integrating HP cert & key?? It'll be lot more easier.
Sounds like a good idea, but how do I do that? There is no Windows 7 media provided with the PCs. Do you mean integrate with the MDT image so it will be ready activated? That would be ideal.
