    $1500 is over my budget.
    I want to buy a touchscreen laptop and install Windows 8 on it. I really like a touchscreen.

    Or wait a year until it actually makes sense to use win8 on your tablet, and enjoy your sub 1k Convertibles/slates

    Then, your only chance of looking at a decent brand with touchscreen - is by 2nd hand only. But I wouldn't wanna go that way o_O

    I am still hesitant towards getting a touch-screen mobile - not to mention a laptop. Although the price gap amongst the two gets trimmed year-by-year :p

    I already have a touchscreen mobile and I want a touchscreen laptop now.
