The Asus M2N SLI Deluxe file is no longer there to download. Can someone please let me know where I can get a working slp 2.1 slic?
in the list i see Asus P5KPL1600 bios but tried searching and didn't find it. can somebody link me to it?
Tried the one for Asus M2A-VM but had no luck getting it to work. It did flash and the POST did appear but it said I had no ram installed even though I had 8 gigs of dual channel memory that is working quite well. I tried everything and followed the directions... I flashed the bios in dos, reset the bios (even pulled the cmos battery), removed the ram and put it back in with just 1 stick and no matter what I did it kept saying I had no ram installed. I reverted to the bios found on asus's page and everything worked perfectly. If there is a way around this whole zero ram installed problem that would be the icing on the cake of trying to use the firmware with slic 2.1 added.
I did what you suggested with AWDFLASH and the command line switches and so far it looks like it's all working like it should. I guess the command line switches was the trick in getting it to work.. I used Opatool to do the rest and so far it's lookin good since windows is activated without using a loader Thanks for your help on this one
I don't see it in the other thread so I was just suggesting that if you need it, post a request and it will probably get done for you.
Hm , the bios link from you is ok but i need a modified bios from an Asus P7P55D and i cant see it in the other post , or maybe i am blind i want say that i really like the work from you guys , sry for my english
it seems like the modded bios for the Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe rev.101 board - bios 1013 is not working, I'm getting bios checksum errors and it won't update...the file is "AusTek-JA7N8X-E-Deluxe-AusTek-uber_1301-DELL_SLIC21_DELL_SLP.rar" I've seen 2 versions listed here and I can not find a link for the other to try out.
Thank You aarows!!!! I did not and couldn't find that d/l link. I did searches and nothing came up. The SLICISA.bin "worked perfect" and this a performance based bios with an updated Sata bios.. Two other bioses here were no good for me: I had issues with SLIC1013.bin -- I lost the needed Sata driver with that one. It was busted.. It loaded fine but lost my Sata drives. Another one was the modified uber bios file C18E13US.bin. That bios simply had a bad checksum and would not flash. I d/l'ed that one twice to be sure I had a good file. I used opa tool to install the HP-COMPAQ certificate, and it's Ultimate key. I am now activated,, Thanks again
