Just thought I'd post that neither bios flash tool in this post worked for me. I just used Asus EZ Flash 2 that was in the bios setup. It gave me a path to all the drives that were in the system and I was able to chose the modded rom file. Thanks for the mod.

Try Installing Windows 7 and then check it.
Since you are probably using "Some Other Method" to Activate Vista that "False SLIC 2.0 info" is being seen instead of the SLIC 2.1 that is in the Bios after you flash the Mod.

:worthy:THANK YOU FOR YOUR ADVICE NoJuan999!!!!! YOU SO ROCK!!:worthy:

I've been reading these fourms for 5 days trying to figure it out cause i'm not one to be spoon-fed. I was at the end of my rope on this one and with a bit of hair left, I just had to post my trouble. Now it is fixed:biggrin: you were right NoJuan999. I completed the Win7 upgrade ran the RW-Everything and sure as the sun is hot it showed 2.1 in the SLIC table.
NoJuan999 can't thank you enough for your FAST response to my dilema.

Not sure if it should be noted somewhere that SLIC 2.1 table may not show up til you have installed/upgraded to Win7.

    Thanks Again!!

    gotabooboo,
    You're Welcome.
It was just common sense though.
You would have figured it out eventually.
You were just too involved and couldn't see the forest through the trees. :D

You started with a Bios with No SLIC Info, You Flashed a Bios that added SLIC 2.1 but only saw SLIC 2.0
and you were running an "Activated" copy of Windows Vista.
I just put two and two together to get four.
    "Elementary, my dear Watson."

Man that is so true! sometimes the answer is right there BUT I was to caught up in looking for the SLIC 2.1 table in the SLIC dump that I didn't stop to think it was only showing the SLIC2.0 do to running Vista.
    So simple...lol
