OK, This is my first post here, I hope I'm listing everything correctly: -Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : Shuttle KPC K45 -Bios Revision : SK45S10L (date: 20091218) -Bios Type : Award (v6.00 PG) -Bios Link : image.shuttle.com/ResourceCenter/download_file.jsp?file_id=13990 I'll install Windows Server 2008 R2 on it. Any SLIC/Cert will be fine (HP, Dell, Asus...) Many many thanks!
Gloups. Flashing went fine but PC is no more booting. I mean, the bios checks (memory, etc.) go fine but freezes with just a cursor blinking before to propose on which drive/cdrom to boot. Any idea on how to unbrick it? (I have acces to the bios's setup). [Edit] Just saw the "bios recovery" section. I'm gonna try this. Cross finger...
Serg008: I didn't clear the CMOS at the first reboot. But since I've done it. With no result. And the various bios recovery procedure do not work: - to create a bootable usb stick or floppy (with autoexec.bat, awdflash and the .bin) => the floppy or stick is never read. Apart during self-test, their led are off. - to short the bios' pins => the PC doesn't start at all. Any idea? I cannot imagine to throw the motherboard away (or buy a new bios chip?)
