Desktop now a Laptop ? I have recently upgraded my computer with a Asus M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3 motherboard and AMD processor. I converted the Bios successfully to a SLIC 2.1 version from here. All works fine (Thanks guys for the efforts going into this stuff) The question I have is, SLIC toolkit now shows that my desktop is a laptop.............. Doesn't worry me a lot, but would this not be a way for Windows Genuine to see that my desktop has an incorrect Bios? I would prefer for all my ducks to be lined up in a row - Asus Bios, Asus Motherboard and Asus SLP Key to avoid as much trouble as possible. BTW I tried two different Bios conversions by two different contributors, but both show the same Notebook SLIC.

Thanks, Serg008. Bios is working perfectly with Win7 Ultimate 64 using included ASUS cert. A quick note about a minor issue, however. Your zip file includes BUPDATER.EXE V1.12. I tried to back up my old Bios before flashing but couldn't, always getting an error message about the utility not being able to read current flash contents. Switched to V1.00b, available from ASUS support site when you look for Bios utilities for P7P55D-LE. That version was able to backup my old Bios and reflash with yours.
