    managed to recover bios using pen drive recovery inclided in the nod bios download link . but dont know waht happened . it was flashing and programming bios and near the end it just shut down . restarting didnt help and no power failure . no idea at all . still at work and will be getting home in half an hours time . and bios is updated to ao9 but no slic 2.1 table

    Flash from Windows with WinPhlash32 (64) included. 1537_a09_mod.rom - bios with Slic 2.1
    Turn off ANTIVIRUS and any other running software before flashing !

    ok thanks . this will have to be on sunday as today saturday i'm off on leave . couple of quick questions if i may .

    1 do i have to copy the .rom file into the winplash32 folder and then run winphlash.exe

    2 do i have to rename the .rom file or leave it as 1537_a09_mod.rom

    i'll certainly keep you posted

    You can copy or not copy. After starting the Winflash you can select a file to flash BIOS.
