hi the screenshot is on megaupload link, thanks for your help but slic status is red invalidated xxx.megaupload.com/?d=KIQXEOFX
Ok, big problems. After activating windows the other day I have not had a chance to mess with it till now. I installed the Drivers for the graphics card and restarted and all I get is BSOD. Bios are not accessible ( when I try to load bios setup page all I get is a frozen mouse pointer and "AB" in the bottom right corner of the screen). I am currently trying to get the pc to boot from something other than the hdd but so far I have not been successful. Any ideas? ---- edit: Without the graphics drivers installed it is booting into windows. I tried to reflash bios to original bios using afuwin, it flashed the bios but the pc is still freezing the same way when I try to enter the bios. I also pulled the bios battery to reset the bios ( when it came back up it said bios defaults had been loaded but still freezes when i try to enter bios setup). I am not sure if pulling bios battery completely loaded defualts, because when I press f11 to choose boot device the correct date and time appears in bottom right corner. What afudos command can I use to completly flash every part of the bios chip? ---- edit #2: I was able to boot from a flash drive and run the AsRock "AMI Firmware Update Utility(APTIO) v2.34" this is an executable with bios embeded, it said that it erased, wrote, and verified the following: flash, nvram, and bootblock. Bios setup still freezes when I press delete or f2 to enter setup. The "AB" in the bottom left corner might be a checkpoint of the current stage of the bios load (just a guess).
Thanks for the reply, this is the "H67M-ITX" (no mini pci wifi). I just tried to update to the previous version of the bios (v1.0). The only change was that after restarting the computer the intel sata raid firmware showed that it was updating as well. Still freezing when opening the bios setup page. ---- I just sent in an RMA for this board. So if you have anything you want me to try before I send it back let me know. This is probably just a bad mainboard and has nothing to do with the modded bios; however, if it is a problem with the modded bios I think it would be good to try and fix this board that we dont have to worry about messing up (any further) so that the next guy that gets one can benefit. I purchased the GA-H67N-USB3-B3 instead. So prepare yourself for helping me with that one!
I had some problems with this, not sure if it was caused by the bios though, im on unmodded and the problem is currently gone, but i also tried a few other things which may have fixed it. i dont want to mess and break it again. the issue was a very very slow post with a USB drive plugged in, my board was hanging on code 90, check for usb input for about 2 mins or so on every boot. anyone else get this issue?
