I would NOT flash from within Windows, Flash from DOS. Also you should be able to simply flash the Modified BIOS from DOS without any problem.
Thanks Serg008, everything was OK, Win7 Professional is activated. How does one go SSV3 mode and what are the parameters set in advanced mode. I could only get into dynamic mode or SSV2. Sorry for my poor English
I've just successfully modded a Dell Dimension 8400 A09 BIOS with a SLIC 2.1 table. Windows 7 Pro 64bit is running activated and happy (if a little slow). I had to do it myself as the one linked in the Modified BIOS section has been deleted. Does anyone want the file I created and if so where do I put it? The previous file had been on rapidshare so I'm not sure that's the best place for it.
