I did test this on my own G31T-M (V1.0) motherboard with no problems. Booted to DOS and flashed with the DOS version of the ECS flash program. The windows flash program was there also but I used the DOS one just to be safe.

I did confirm this process works on my own GX270 & GX280 systems. In case you don't know, the XP license data (SLP) in the bios is not lost when doing this mod so you can continue to use your Dell Windows XP after doing the mod if you are not ready to go right to Windows 7.
