Hi, any chance this modded bios can be posted again please? Link above no longer has the modded bios. TIA Starmax
Not that I know of, he's been gone for a while now. Just use the one I linked to and install the Included Certificate and you should be fine.
After a couple of months I was hoping that my post would be answered (or at least acknowledged) by now. Please, this is very frustrating. I read about others having all this success and all they did is download a file I can't get to. Someone, please help! A working modded bios for the Dell Inspiron 6000 PLEASE!
I want to ask if I should wait for moding the bios. Thank you for your answer. This bios can be mod with dynamic (No complete SLIC table found warning) and module method (no warnings). But I'm not sure which method is better .... can't find a good explanation of module method .... I prefer to wait for a suggestion from the mod gurus. Mod logs in attachment.
Fine, despite the fact that is has been requested several times, and those requests have been granted, and those files inexplicably taken away, I'll do it your way. I'm so desperate for this at this point I'll do anything...no matter how little sense it makes. Request For SLIC 2.1 BIOS -Motherboard Manufacturer and Model: Dell Inspiron 6000 -Bios Version : A109 -Bios Type : Dell -Bios Link : (sorry for turning off the link...the forum wouldn't let me post a link because I don't have 20 posts) -SLIC: Dell 2.1 (For WIndows 7) (Prefer it to be Dell Slic As It Is A Dell after All) (just copied and pasted from one of the requests that was previously granted.
just to clarify, I wasn't asking anyone to mod anything. All I wanted was a lead on modded BIOSes that had already been previously modded, posted, and worked for other people. My attitude is based on the frustration of reading sooooo many people yell "yay, it worked" while I'm googling and googling unable to find this wonderful file that so many others got to enjoy. That can't be difficult to understand or relate to. I will look into posting the RW Everything report, but again...someone somewhere has to have this file. Wouldn't it be easiest for all involved parties if one of these fortunate individuals can just reupload the file so all of us Inspiron 6000 owners can enjoy what they're enjoying?

It would not be directly moding the bios?
