I see. Hummm... any idea what might be the reason for my problem? Windows 7 32-bit. Trying to replace the Atheros Wifi card with an Intel 6200AGN, pulled from a Lenovo ThinkPad X201T. The driver installed fine but Device Manager reported the device cannot start (code 10). I searched online and some suggested that it is whitelist related?

I realize this is quite late, but wanted to confirm that this DID work with an ASUS cert. My HP cert didn't trigger activation--not sure why. Anyhow, thanks again!
ASUS SLIC 2.1 was inserted, so you need ASUS cert. HP SLP string was inserted, which is needed for XP/2003 activation.
