    Yes, Serg008... That was the post... Thanks... now to get my son to fix my computer. It seems I fry a system at the start of each summer before I can get the wife to let me crank the A/C down to a reasonable temperature.

    ASUS F50SF, BIOS ver.204
    it was already done, but the links are dead

    Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : ASUS F50SF Notebook
    Bios Revision : 204
    Bios Type : AMI
    Bios SLIC : ASUS (or any)
    Bios Link : dlcdnet asus com pub ASUS nb F50SF F50SfAS204.zip

    old link to the modded one was
