    Either use Windows first or use EZ Flash ;)

    but int. bios tool not working: "wrong bios date"
    windows flash not working cause no oem-table found
    (x54c shipped with "free dos" - so no slic info/table in bios)

    i cannot install winflash, error: "working only with asus notebooks"
    i believe, missing oem slic table - notebook shipped with freedos not windows
    aflash2 says: unknown flasmemory

    As i remember, you should Install Win7 & drivers & utilities from ASUS's site for this PC (esp. ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities), then install Asus's Winflash. After the reboot run winflash with /NODATE key
