    i cannot install winflash, error: "working only with asus notebooks"
    i believe, missing oem slic table - notebook shipped with freedos not windows
    aflash2 says: unknown flasmemory

    As i remember, you should Install Win7 & drivers & utilities from ASUS's site for this PC (esp. ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities), then install Asus's Winflash. After the reboot run winflash with /NODATE key

    I unzipped this file, dont know how 2 use this. Just start the exe? New method to flash? Never seen before.

    Hello!

    These two links don't worked anymore. They are dead even if I replace busybox with manufacturer:
    => Compaq CQ50 : HP_Compaq_Presario_CQ50-115NR_Notebook_PC-HP-F.3EA_sp44693.exe-HP_SLIC21_HP_SLP.rar
    => Asus P5K ver. 1201 : AMI (slic=Dell, slp=Dell, method=ssv3, mod Busykid508, tested t3nk3n,Hans Gruber,radx)

    Can you re-post them please?

    JEPP, this was the point!!! - all asus drivers installed, winflash works as a charm, slicbios flashed, glad!!! all is working
