I modified the F27 bios for the Presario V2000 2030US model myself, since there was nothing I could find with greater than SLIC 2.0.
It works for me. Sharing it in case anyone else needs it.

SLIC 2.1, HP license. Not sure about the whitelist, I think I used a whitelist-free bios as my starting point but I'm not entirely sure. I'm using the original wireless card.

First timer, apologies if the download doesn't work I'll try again. If anyone even wants it, that is!

Note to "Call Me Tex", not sure if this is any good to you. I think maybe this bios is common to the whole v2000 range but I can't say that definitively. Anything higher than F27 threw up a warning on my machine, it might be that those later revisions are for the higher model numbers only (like yours) and this early one is common to all models?

It's actually pretty easy to do it yourself, see this thread: forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/13194-Tool-to-Insert-Replace-SLIC-in-Phoenix-Insyde-Dell-EFI-BIOSes

    Worked for me :)

I'm guessing that D2400A05_SLIC.EXE is a DOS Executable (but I may be wrong, since I don't own that MB).
If it is rename it A05_SLIC.exe and copy it to the Bootable USB Drive and run it from DOS.

I tried flashing my bios twice and win7 says it is not activated. I am using a Dell win7 Ultimate DVD. What else should i try? It did update from F6 to F9g and I noticed it gives me the F12 option for the boot menu. I had to edit the links since i have less than 20 posts.

The current BIOS is version A03. I downloaded the A05 from Dell and will flash with that and then flash with the modded BIOS. I will not be doing it until Sunday but will still get back to you with my results. Thanks
