(although it's hardly ever visible long enough to see it) farm6.staticflickr.com/5536/14585050574_019f44734d_b.jpg I've found the best way to flash the BIOS on the GA-Z77X-UP7 is to clear the CMOS before flashing, load optimised defaults after flashing, then reboot again and make any changes to the BIOS manually, rather than load from a saved profile. farm4.staticflickr.com/3863/14401081688_049517978d_o.jpg (sorry for the not-links. I don't have enough posts to add proper ones) Cheers
Hi, Sorry for replying for an old post. I have the same laptop, but when I try to flash the bios following the method you mentioned in the modded bios, it doesn't work. I followed the steps exactly. The flash drive indicator was also blinking, but when the laptop boots after a few minutes, It boots with default bios in factory default condition. (The changes I made in bios systems are gone & it booted as default.) Please help me with this or please provide me flasher to flash in-windows. (Sorry I had to adjust the links, as I'm unable to post them)
What do you mean "not works" ? This mod will add Slic 2.1 Dell to the BIOS. Upload Slictoolkit's screens (Basic and Advanced tabs) or RWE report
Thank you for replying. I mean, no any hidden menus or manufacturer locks unlocked. I was trying to get the option of selecting vga (Dynamic to fixed) and get a way to overclock my vga card. (It doesn't allow me as of now as it is locked in bios). Thanks in advance. View attachment 29724 View attachment 29725 View attachment 29726 View attachment 29727
I think you're misunderstanding the purpose of this thread and the whole SLIC concept. A SLIC doesn't add or unlock additional features in the BIOS
Thank you for mentioning that. Can you please give me a brief of that & please direct to a place where I can achieve my requirements. (Like unlocking advanced setting in BIOS) Thank you very much in advance.
