Hello guys I have Acer Aspire E1-571G Bios insyde v2.21 i need deep unlock of the bios to be able to activate the VT-x option ( its currently off according to intels identification tool) Please help me am a software developer and i need this vor virtualization purpose i tried a mod but it unlocks half of the options do i need to go back to the original to flash a new mod? thanks guys your the best
Hi, Thanks for your superfast response. I am having problems flashing this though. The problem is much the same as for the version I produced using Pheonix 2.59 and the DMI method. The problem I am experiencing is that AFUDOS just hangs when I try and flash the file. The command is AFUDOS /K1 /Q /Reboot Also I tried flashing my earlier version from the Easyflash 2 tool in the bios. It recognised my modded bios, but also hung. I haven't tried yours with that method but I expect it will be the same result. Could the problem somehow be that the motherboard is already running the unmodded 2505 bios? thanks
Thanks. Working fine now. I think my problem was that neither bupdater nor AFUDOS nor Easyflash 2 seems to work with a bios on a USB stick in a USB 3.0 port for some reason...
Flashed via Biostar BIOS Updater (command line / Non-Windows) Stopped and lost power during update and the BIOS seems to be dead now. Black screen when powering up. Clearing CMOS by Jumper Method didnt help.
