Thank You. I did download, your updated links and the .rar contained to 4 files. One more help, please. Does my procedure make sense, with my ASUS P4P800-SE motherboard.? Also, how does the DELL.XRM-MS apply? Does it get flashed? How?

Your .rar pkg contained the 4 files below:

    AFUDOS.exe
    DELL.XRM-MS
P4P800SE-ASUS-1012.001 (This file is a .001 extension. This is the original bios?)
P4P800SE-ASUS-1012_SLIC.001 (this file is a .001 extension. This is the modded bios?)

I will rename the modded bios from: P4P800SE-ASUS-1012.001_SLIC to: p4p800.bin

    Then, issue the DOS command line;

    afudos.exe p4p800.bin /b /p /n /c

where the command line switches are:

    Options:

    /B = Program Boot Block
    /P = Program Main BIOS
    /N = Program NVRAM
/C = Destroy System CMOS Checksum

I am not sure about the /C option. /C says Destroy System CMOS Checksum. Can you or anyone reading this, comment about the procedure.

    Thanks, Motoad.

    1. P4P800SE-ASUS-1012.001 - official bios (non modified)
P4P800SE-ASUS-1012_SLIC.001 - modified bios (Dell 2.1 SLIC added for ofline Win7 activation
AFUDOS.exe - AMI Firmware Update Utility
DELL.XRM-MS - Dell certificate (must be used for ofline Win7 activation)
    2. rename official P4P800SE-ASUS-1012.001 bios as P4P800SE.001
rename modified P4P800SE-ASUS-1012_SLIC.001 bios as SLIC.001
    3. make a pure DOS bootable floppy (or USB stick), copy P4P800SE.001, SLIC.001 and AFUDOS.exe to the floppy, boot to DOS, type
    AFUDOS.exe /iP4P800SE.001
and press Enter (official bios will flashed), reboot, boot to DOS and run (to flash modified bios)
    AFUDOS.exe /iSLIC.001
After reboor boot to Windows and check SLIC with Slictoolkit

@Serg008. You sir are a magician. SLIC 2.1 confirmed. The toolkit also confirmed the Dell Cert was good, when I pointed to it booting up an old copy of WinXP. Your instructions and firmware worked flawlessly. Bravo sir. Thank you for your time and effort. Who knows, maybe someone else has an old P4P800 desktop stored for a rainy day when their main unit finally gives up it's ghost. These instructions are a perfect example for others to follow. Very glad I held onto the P4P800. I built it for my son, for college, many years ago. Now it sees a new life. I have many of the old tools, floppy disk drive, and recollections going back to Win98.
