JUST A NOTE TO NoJuan999 Hey man just a note to you did you read this on How to Modify Your Own Bios Using AMI Mod Tool and Award Mod Tool just thought ill bring it up because you been using the 0+2 method and not the isa method, and that bios did cause me some problems i have to rma my board now because it wont post normal For those who have an ECS AWARD Bios, EVGA AWARD Bios, MSI AWARD BIOS (NOT MSI AMI) and for those who have an AWARD Bios by HP or COMPAQ, use the ISA method to modify the bios. The Award Mod Tool defaults to 0+2 but ECS AWARD BIOS, EVGA AWARD BIOS, MSI AWARD BIOS, and AWARD Bios by HP or COMPAQ already have a SLIC inserted in the ACPITBL. The 0+2 method only adds a second SLIC and could cause problems with the computer or activation of windows. ISA will replace the OLD SLIC with the NEW SLIC.
No Problem, I didn't take that way but thanks for clarifying anyways. Obviously for your board I should have given you an ISA Mod first, Sorry about that. I just wish I knew sooner it was not working properly so I could've deleted the link sooner. I just reposted an ISA mod in that original Post if you want to test it when you get your board back. Thanks for the feedback. It will certainly help keep others from using that mod, now that I deleted that original linked BIOS mod.
lol ill problely sell the board when i get it back the new one im getting is better , could of going from an older bios with dell slic 2.1 to the new bios with asus slic 2.1 cause this problem?
Possibly upgrading to the Newer Version of that BIOS may have introduced some problems. It is definitely NOT recommended to upgrade to a newer BIOS Version just because it's newer. Unless you need the newer features offered by a newer version, otherwise you should always keep the current working version. The 0+2 mods almost never Brick a board.
